The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing certain large headers, which can be exploited to cause a high CPU load by sending a specially crafted email to the system. Successful exploitation requires that the "mbox" mail directory format is used. The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 1.2.11 of the 1.2.x branch. The 1.0.x and 1.1.x branches are not affected. SOLUTION: Update to version 1.2.11.
