DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in SocialCMS Enterprise, which
can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
and SQL injection attacks.
1) Input passed via the "TR_name" POST parameter to
ajax/commentajax.php (when "TR_security_code" is set to an invalid
security code) is not properly sanitised before being returned to the
user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code
in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
2) Input passed via the "category" POST parameter to search.php is
not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
This may be related to vulnerability #2 in:
SA44313
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 1.0.5. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Filter malicious characters or character sequences via a proxy.
