DESCRIPTION:
Luigi Auriemma has discovered a vulnerability in Unity Web Player,
which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's
system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing
Unity 3D files. This can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer
overflow via a specially crafted file.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 3.5.0.43509. Other versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Disable the web player in a browser (e.g. in Internet Explorer set
the kill-bit for the affected ActiveX control).
