DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in Ruby on Rails, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.

1) Certain input passed via direct manipulations of SafeBuffer is not
properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be
exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.

2) Certain input passed via manually generated select tags options is
not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be
exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.

The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 3.2.2, 3.1.4,
and 3.0.12.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 3.2.2, 3.1.4, or 3.0.12.
