DESCRIPTION:
Two security issues have been reported in FreeIPA, which can be
exploited by malicious people to gain knowledge of sensitive
information.

For more information:
SA51756

1) The application does not properly restrict access to outgoing and
incoming keys of a Cross-Realm Kerberos trust with an Active
Directory (AD) when using IPA LDAP ACIs. This can be exploited to
gain knowledge of the keys and subsequently impersonate other users
and services of the opposing AD domain via specially crafted Kerberos
tickets.

The security issues are reported in all 3.x versions.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 3.1.2. Additionally fixed in the GIT repository.

PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
Reported by the vendor.
