DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been reported in Sun Fire X2100 and X2200 M2,
which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions.
The security issue is caused due to an unspecified error in the
Embedded Lights Out Manager (ELOM) software and can be exploited to
initiate unauthorized network traffic, e.g. to send spam emails.
The security issue is reported in Sun Fire X2100 M2 Server and Sun
Fire X2200 M2 Server.
SOLUTION:
Update to SP/BMC firmware version 3.09 from the 1.5a Tools and
Drivers CD ISO image.
