DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been discovered in VBA32 Antivirus, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.
The problem is caused due to the application setting insecure default
permissions on the VBA32 installation directory. This can be exploited
to gain escalated privileges by e.g. replacing files in the
directory.
The security issue is reported in version 3.12.2. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Apply patch.
