DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in guilt, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to perform certain actions with
escalated privileges.
The vulnerabilities are caused due to guilt creating and using
temporary files insecurely. This can be exploited via symlink attacks
to e.g. overwrite arbitrary files with the privileges of another user
running certain guilt commands (e.g. "guilt-push").
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 0.27. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Restrict access to trusted people only.
