DESCRIPTION:
Luigi Auriemma has discovered a vulnerability in SeattleLab SLNet RF
Telnet Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a
DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to a NULL-pointer dereference error
within the Seattle Lab Telnet Server service (SLnet.exe) and can be
exploited to cause the service to crash by sending a specially
crafted packet.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 4.1. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Restrict network access to the service.
