DESCRIPTION:
David Kierznowski has reported a vulnerability in Livelink ECM, which
can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.
Input passed in certain character encodings (e.g. UTF-7) is not
properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be
exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerability is reported in versions from 9.0.0 to 9.7.0. Other
versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
The vendor has reportedly fixed the vulnerability in a version which
was released at 2008-01-25 or later. Please contact the vendor for
more information.
