DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been discovered in File Sharing Wizard,
which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable
system.
1) A boundary error when processing HTTP requests can be exploited to
cause a stack-based buffer overflow via an HTTP request having an
overly long "Content-Length" header.
2) A boundary error when processing HTTP requests can be exploited to
cause a stack-based buffer overflow via an HTTP request specifying an
overly long path.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerabilities allows execution of
arbitrary code.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in demo version 1.5.0. Other
versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Restrict access to the HTTP service by using e.g. a firewall.
